Skylar Lafleur is an interdisciplinary artist hailing from Western Massachusetts. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Creative Writing minor at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts. Her love of stories has taken multiple forms throughout the years, one of which was theater. Though she’s since stepped away from the stage, she retains a love for immersion, theatricality, and the creation of a setting within her own work. Using sculpture, illustration, print, textiles, and the written word, Skylar seeks to immerse viewers in her emotional reality and to transport them elsewhere altogether.
